LIS

The Lis (Italian sign language) is the language of the signs used by deaf people or with hearing problems in Italy. The LIS has been recognized as official language in Italy in 2020thanks to Law 77/2019. Knowledge of LIS it is important to to promote the inclusion and the participation of deaf people in Italian society and to ensure their access to services such as education, health and employment.
